Director's Notes:1/31/10
What a GREAT weekend in Daytona for Treasure Coast! Although the weather wasn't nice enough for us to enjoy the beach, we didn't let it affect us in the gym! All four teams attending this weekend made it into the gold division, and finished in the top 5! The 16 national and 18 national went on to win the GOLD division! Congratulations to all the players and Coaches! Way to represent TC!
GO TC!

DIRECTOR'S REPORT..... 1/23/2010
It is hard to believe January is over and we are in full swing this club season! After the months of organizing, planning, and practicing our first multiday tournament was a success! Treasure Coast sent 7 teams to the Gold division in our first tournament, with special congratulations going out to Coach Vinette and the 17 National team for winning the entire 17 Club Gold division!
I had the privilege of watching all of our teams over the two weekend event and it is evident that coaches and players are working hard and getting better with every practice. I was impressed with how well everyone seemed to work together and the positive attitudes I saw on and off the court. I know this season is going to be one for the record books.
Congratulations to everyone on a successful first tournament!
Thank you for everything you do for our players and staff!
Go TC!

Director's Notes ............8/12/0
Dear TCVB Family,
As the new season gets an early kickoff, I want to let everyone know how excited I am to be the new Treasure Coast Juniors Director! I am proud to say that we are the longest running and most successful club on the Treasure Coast. For those of you who may not know me, I would like to share a little of my background. I have been involved with TCVB as a player and then coach since 1994. After graduating from Martin County High School in 1997, I went on to play volleyball at IRCC (now IRSC) and Nova Southeastern. I am currently starting my 9th year teaching at South Fork High School where I am in my 6th season as the Head Volleyball Coach.
Treasure Coast Volleyball Club is coming off another successful year where our teams demonstrated their determination, talent, and ability to improve their play at all levels. The success of our TCVB teams has made us proud of our local athletes. I would like to congratulate our 17’s team for making it to the Junior Olympics and the 16’s team for winning the AAU National Championships in the club division! This is our first National Championship, and I am proud to have been a part of it.
As we start this year, we have some major changes with our tryouts. While we at Treasure Coast do not necessarily agree with the newly appointed early tryout date, we want to give our athletes the opportunity to remain competitive with the other club teams in the area. We hope this change will be positive in the long run.
I am confident that even with the change in tryout dates, TCVB will be as strong as ever. Some of our greatest assets are our highly qualified and dedicated coaches of which many are returning for the upcoming season. We are also excited to welcome our new coaches to TCVB: Andy Treadwell, Tori Ciano, and Megan Moffat.
Thank you for your continued support of Treasure Coast Volleyball. I look forward to an awesome club season with new milestones for all of our athletes.
Sincerely,
Stephanie Skidmore
