Treasure Coast Coaches: 2011-12

Ron Jacobs:
Ron is currently the Director of Treasure Coast and has been a part of USA Volleyball for the past 16 years.
Ron first played on the beach in Florida and on post teams while serving in the US Army. Ron started coaching indoor with Treasure Coast Juniors and then went on to be an assistant at Martin County High School for 5 years. In the five years at Martin County the Tigers won 5 district championships and were undefeated in Conference play. In addition the Tigers reached the state finals in 2002.
After Martin County, Ron took over as the Head Coach at Indian River State College where they were ranked nationally 4 of the 5 years.
Ron is currently the Head Coach at South Fork High School where he teaches Mathematics.
Ron is supported by his Wife Kelly and his children Sophia and Jack.

Lori McCaughey:
Lori is a Martin County Graduate and member of their 1992 State Runner-up team and their 1994 State Championship team which ended ranked 18th in the nation. Also, Lori was selected as a member of the 1994 All-State team.
After High School Lori went on to play for the University of South Florida. During her 4 years at USF the bulls appeared in the NCAA tournament 4 times and were as high as 16th. She was a two-year captain and recorded over 1000 Kills and 1000 digs.
Lori has been coaching USA Volleyball since 1997 with the last 5 being for Treasure Coast. Her last three teams have qualified for JO’s. In addition to coaching, Lori has also played a huge role in getting Treasure Coast players recruited including 100% of her last two senior classes.
Loir is also a board member for Treasure Coast.
Lori is supported by her husband Carl and her two children Riley and Peyton.

Mike Sawtelle:
Mike has been coaching High School volleyball in the area for 13 years. He started out at South Fork and is now the Head Coach at Jensen Beach High School. At Jensen Beach the Falcons have won 2 state championships, 2007 and 2009.
Mike has been an active board member for Treasure Coast since 2001 and won an AAU National Championship in 2005.
Mike is currently a board member and a former director of Treasure Coast.
Mike is a dedicated family man with support from his wife Lisa and his children; Nico, Kiana, Makai and Naiya.

Marianne Vinette:
Marianne was a Head Coach for 4 years in the South Florida Area before moving to the Treasure Coast. She has been the assistant varsity and head JV coach at Jensen Beach High School since 2005 including the 2 State Championship teams. Marianne has been with treasure Coast since 2007 and qualified her team for Nationals in 2009.

Gio Delevry:
Gio is in his second season as assistant coach at Indian River State College. A West Palm Beach native, Delevry played on the men’s club volleyball team at Palm Beach Atlantic University before transferring to Warner Southern University in Lake Wales, FL. There he helped the Royals finish top 10 NAIA poll for Men’s Volleyball.
An avid beach volleyball player, Delevry has used his knowledge of the indoor and outdoor game in training top college players and beginning players. He has been involved in Club Volleyball for six-years and in June won Gold at Nationals in Orlando with OBV 18 Boys. Gio is CAP and B –impact certified through USA Volleyball.

Amanda Vaughn:
Amanda Vaughan has grown up in Stuart and played for SMS, Martin County, Treasure Coast Juniors and IRSC.   This is her 5th year coaching for TCVB. She has a huge passion for the game, and looks forward to many more years as a coach for treasure coast volleyball.  
Amanda is the gym coordinator in addition to her coaching duties.

Cara Walls:
Cara has played volleyball since the 7th grade. She was a three year starter at her high school in Ohio, also receiving offensive player of the year all three years. Cara went on to play collegiately at IRSC. Cara has 8 years of club coaching experience with 6 of those being with Treasure Coast.

Casey Haggerty:
Casey is a South Fork and Treasure Coast Graduate.  After High School Casey went on to play for Indian River State College. Casey was part of the 13-national team last year and has a bright coaching future.

Patti Grossnickle:
Patti is a Martin County and Treasure Coast Graduate. After High School Patti went on to play at Rollins College. Last year Patti was part of the 15-National team and is currently the JVB coach and Varsity Assistant at Jensen Beach High School.

Jessica Lilly:
Jessica started playing volleyball in 4th grade and played all through high school making it to the state championships multiple times. She also played on a national club team in high school which qualified 2 consecutive years for nationals.  Jessica went on to play volleyball on a full athletic scholarship at Southern Illinois for two years and then transferred to Georgia where she played at Armstrong Atlantic University on a full athletic and academic scholarship. After she graduated Jessica returned to school in Virginia a year later where she was the President, Coach, and player for the women's club volleyball team at Radford University for two seasons. In Ohio she was a club coach for 2 years for girl’s national team 14's and 15's prior to moving to Florida and joining the TCVB family.

Megan Romine:
Megan has been a part of the volleyball world for the past 12 years. Some of her many accomplishments include being offensive player of the year her freshman year of high school, a two time 1st team all conference player in high school, and playing for the 14, 15, 16, and 18 Treasure Coast Volleyball Club Elite teams. 
Megan went on to play NCAA Division II Volleyball for Alderson-Bruaddus College for one year, and continued her collegiate career at NAIA Division I Brewton-Parker College, where she finished her senior year as captain of her team. She continues to thrive in the volleyball world by coaching.

Amanda Molter:
Amanda is a graduate of South Fork High School and Treasure Coast Juniors.
After High School, Amanda went on to FSU where she played for their Club team for two seasons.
Amanda is currently the freshman coach and Varsity Assistant at South Fork High School and assists in the technique trainings on Sunday and Monday evenings.

Stephanie Skidmore:
Stephanie is in her second season as IRSC’s Head volleyball coach. Skidmore was previously the Head Coach at South Fork High School where she was named Treasure Lake Conference coach of the Year and Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers Coach of the year in fall of 2008. She coached South Fork to the school’s best start in 2008 and best finish in 2009 losing to the eventual state champions in the Regional Semi-Finals. Skidmore has also coached for Treasure Coast Juniors since 1998, where she was a part of the 2009 16 Club AAU National Championship Team.
Skidmore played for IRSC (then IRCC) from 1997-1999 where she was named Captain, MVP and was awarded All-conference and All-State honors. She continued her college career at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL where she again earned All-Conference and All-Region honors. Stephanie is a current board member and former Director of Treasure Coast.

Blair Wickstrom:
Blair has coached six years with Treasure Coast Volleyball.  He has coached and qualified four teams to the Junior Nationals, twice as head coach and twice as an assistant coach. Blair as a head coach won the Florida Open 16’s Regional Championship. Blair is a current Board Member and former Director of Treasure Coast.
